Where Inspired Design Meets Everyday Living
At Schmidt Twickenham, we believe exceptional interiors begin with thoughtful design and meticulous craftsmanship. Explore our ranges and discover how we can transform your home with timeless design and precision-built quality.
Why Choose Schmidt Twickenham For Your Kitchen?
At Schmidt Twickenham, kitchen design starts with the individual home rather than a standard solution. Your designer takes time to understand how you use your current kitchen, what you would like to improve and the type of space you want to create. This allows each project to develop around genuine practical and aesthetic requirements.
One of the key benefits of working with Schmidt Twickenham is having a single point of contact. A dedicated designer who knows your project inside out will manage everything, giving you continuity throughout the process and someone familiar with the decisions made along the way.
Personalised advice is also central to the experience. Whether you’re deciding between different layouts, considering how to improve storage or trying to establish the right overall look, the team can help you explore the possibilities within your home. The aim is to uncover its hidden potential while creating a kitchen that feels individual to you.
Visualising a new kitchen from plans alone isn’t always easy. Schmidt Twickenham provides a high-quality 3D presentation, helping you see how your proposed kitchen could look before the project progresses. This makes it easier to understand the layout, proportions and relationship between different elements of the design.
The team can work with a variety of design preferences. Whether you’re drawn to a clean modern kitchen, a characterful Shaker-inspired space or something more understated, the focus remains on balancing style with functionality. Practical considerations such as storage, movement and how the room is used day to day can all be incorporated into the planning process.
The showroom is led by Sami Barouki, whose background in interior design brings valuable experience to each project. His trend-aware approach is balanced by a focus on creating interiors that are functional and personalised rather than simply following current styles.
Support also continues beyond the design itself. Schmidt Twickenham aims to provide peace of mind throughout the journey, supporting clients from initial planning to installation and beyond. This means you’ll have an experienced team available as your ideas develop into a finished kitchen.

What Twickenham Homeowners Say About Schmidt
“The team at Schmidt Twickenham did an excellent job creating our new kitchen. Special thanks to Umar for his expertise, professionalism and patience during the design iterations. Clear guidance on process and timings. The timing schedule was adhered to. Excellent communication throughout. All queries dealt with almost immediately. Wonderful attention to detail on plumbing, electrics, fitting and decoration. The complete package ! We could not be more pleased with our kitchen.”

“Choosing a kitchen is such a difficult process, Schmidt did an excellent job guiding us through this process, Patricia gave us so much guidance with the design and layout. She was so accommodating when asked to update the design software to reflect the different options available to us. The fitter, recommended by Schmidt, was great too. He started the job and didn’t leave the site until he had finished. There were very few snagging issues at the end of the installation, and of the couple that did exist, both were resolved in a very efficient and professional manner by both the fitter and Schmidt. There were good communication channels between ourselves, the fitter and Schmidt at all times during the installation process and Sam from Schmidt came to visit the site at least a couple of times during that period. The kitchen furniture is of a very good quality and worth paying a slight premium for. We were so happy with Patricia and Sam from Schmidt in Twickenham and the fitter they recommended. We can now safely recommend Schmidt very strongly to others.”

“We couldn’t be more pleased with our decision to choose Schmidt Kitchens for our new kitchen installation. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. Schmidt Kitchens connected us with a highly skilled and trustworthy contractor who not only addressed the structural issues with our existing floor but also installed a state-of-the-art underfloor heating system, laid beautiful new ceramic tiles, and expertly fitted the cabinets. They even took care of all the redecorating, making the space feel brand new. The only other contractor involved was a specialist for the worktops, who also did an outstanding job. Every professional on site was fantastic, thoughtful, and reliable.”
